About Central Texas Birth Fund

Our Story

Central Texas Birth Fund (CTBF) was founded from a belief that healthy families and healthy communities begin with connection, support, and access to trusted resources.

As we listened to families, birth workers, and community members, we recognized that lasting change requires more than addressing immediate needs. It requires building relationships, strengthening leadership, and creating opportunities for communities to shape solutions together.

Today, CTBF is evolving into a community-rooted organization focused on maternal wellness, family well-being, and community connection across Central Texas.

Our Mission

We bring families, birth workers, and community partners together to strengthen maternal wellness, leadership, and community connection across Central Texas.

Our Vision

We envision Central Texas communities where families feel supported, residents help shape solutions, and every parent has access to trusted networks of care and connection.

Our Purpose

CTBF exists to strengthen maternal wellness and family well-being by building community connections, supporting resident leadership, and fostering partnerships that help families thrive.

What We Do

Central Texas Birth Fund works to strengthen maternal wellness, family well-being, and community connection across Central Texas.

We bring together families, birth workers, community leaders, and partner organizations to build relationships, share resources, and support community-driven solutions that improve maternal and family health.

1

Maternal Wellness

We create opportunities for families to connect, learn, and access trusted support throughout pregnancy, postpartum, and family life.

2

Community Connection

We bring families, birth workers, and community members together to build relationships, strengthen support systems, and reduce isolation.

3

Leadership Development

We encourage and support residents in sharing their experiences, identifying community priorities, and helping shape solutions that impact maternal and family well-being.

4

Community Partnerships

We collaborate with healthcare providers, nonprofits, educators, birth workers, and local organizations to strengthen resources and expand opportunities for families.

5

Advocacy & Awareness

We work to elevate community voices, increase awareness of maternal health challenges, and promote conversations that support healthier outcomes for families across Central Texas.

How we fit within the Maternal Health System...

Improving maternal and family well-being requires collaboration. No single organization can meet every need, and lasting change happens when communities, providers, and local organizations work together.

Central Texas Birth Fund serves as a connector, convener, and community partner. We work alongside families, birth workers, healthcare providers, nonprofits, educators, and community leaders to strengthen relationships, increase access to trusted support, and help communities identify solutions that reflect their unique needs.

Our role is not to replace existing services. Our role is to help strengthen the connections between people, organizations, and resources that support healthier families and communities.

Our Commitment

We are committed to strengthening maternal wellness and family well-being through community connection, collaboration, and leadership. We believe lasting change happens when families, residents, and community partners work together to create solutions that reflect local needs and priorities.

Looking ahead...

As CTBF grows, we will continue building relationships, strengthening partnerships, and creating opportunities for maternal wellness, community engagement, and leadership development throughout Central Texas.

We look forward to working alongside families, birth workers, and community partners to support healthier, more connected communities for generations to come.
